The KM01A and KM01X processors are specially designed for Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things Camera (AIoT Camera) of Always-on Video (AOV) applications, one of the key components of electronic surveillance system.

The optimized image signal processor (ISP) and video processors, along with Neural-network Processing Unit (NPU), enable powerful image processing capabilities, low-bitrate video encoding and AI applications such as object detection and tracking, face detection and recognition—all while maintaining minimal power consumption. Notably, the KM01A and KM01X processors are able to achieve even lower power consumption in shallow sleep mode, making it ideal for AOV applications. In terms of security, the secure boot function safeguards firmware integrity and ensures trusted system startup. Additionally, the processors offer a comprehensive set of peripheral interfaces, such as UART, SPI, I2S, MMC/SD/SDIO, Ethernet MAC and USB 2.0, providing high extensibility and flexibility.
